The PLRM vision took shape in 2002 and was created through 2004. On January 28th, 2006 a group of 28 people gathered to dedicate the facility and grounds to the Lord with praises and prayer in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. Through many different horse programs PLRM ministered to youth, and adults alike, mentoring, teaching, and encouraging people in their faith and identity in Jesus Christ. In 2011, the ministry was invited to relocate to the cowboy country of Paola, Kansas, and currently has services and opportunities available for families with youth 4-16.
PLRM is a Inter-Denominational Faith-Based Nonprofit Charitable Organization (501(c)3).
A. The Bible alone is the inspired and infallible Word of God and constitutes completed and final revelation. The Bible, in its original autograph, is without error in whole or in part, including theological concepts as well as geographical and historical details. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)
B. God alone is self-existent and has existed from all eternity in three eternal and co-equal persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was God, come in human flesh, being fully God and fully man except without sin. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1; John 10:30, 37-38)
C. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and everything that God created was good. Yet his perfect creation was marred by sin. Through Adam's sin, death and decay entered into this world. (Genesis 1:1, 31; Genesis 2:16-17; Genesis 3:6-10,23; Romans 8:20-21; Romans 5:12)
D. All men are in violation of God's righteous requirements and His Holy character both by nature and by act, and are therefore under His wrath and just condemnation. Yet because of God's infinite love and mercy, He sent His Son to bear the penalty of our sins. The central purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to atone for sins through His substitutionary death on the cross - the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His subsequent visible bodily resurrection. (Romans 3:19; Romans 5:6-8; Ephesians 2:1, 4-5; II Corinthians 5:21; Romans 3:25-26; 1 Corinthians 15:3-6)
E. Salvation is offered as a gift free to the sinner. This gift must be responded to individually in faith, not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone. (Romans 6:23; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:21-24; Romans 10:9)
F. The Holy Spirit is the comforter and counselor, promised by Jesus, who came upon the church at Pentecost and indwells every believer. He is co-equal with the Father and the Son and provides the power which enables individual Christians to live in accord with God's will. (John 14:16-17, 26; Romans 8:9-11; Romans 12:2-3; Galatians 3:3; Philippians 2:13)
